Hi, I have a small water pump at home for the garden and I'm not sure if this switch thing would work with it – do I need to be an electrician to connect it, or is it something a normal person can figure out? Also does it matter which way up I put it?

Hi Gary! The good news is that this pressure switch can be mounted in any position, so you don't need to worry about which way it goes. As for the wiring, it does connect into the electrical circuit of your pump, so if you're not comfortable around electrics it's worth having an electrician do that part. Once it's fitted, adjusting the switch-on and switch-off pressure is straightforward – you just tighten or loosen a nut on the spring inside.
